Meguro to Akino wa Kizukanai

For university student Meguro, the greatest source of daily anxiety is his hopelessly romantic straight friend, Akino. Despite fully knowing that Meguro is gay, Akino has a persistent habit of showing up at his apartment every time he gets dumped by his latest girlfriend. Seeking comfort, Akino shamelessly declares that nothing heals him quite like Meguro’s home-cooked meals, the familiar scent of his room, and the reassuring feel of his firm muscles. What follows is anything but platonic consolation. Under the guise of seeking solace, Akino eagerly pushes Meguro down to run his hands all over his body, initiating kisses and escalating their physical intimacy until they end up pleasuring each other together. This deeply intimate routine has become their unspoken norm after every one of Akino’s breakups, blurring the lines between friendship and romance in ways neither seems willing to acknowledge.
