Middle school student So-Ri Lee made the brave choice to defend a friend against their entire class, never anticipating that she would become the new target of their hostility. When her friend ultimately decides to transfer to another school to escape the bullying, So-Ri resolves to leave the painful experience behind and transfers as well, hoping for a completely fresh start. Upon arriving at her new school, So-Ri discovers that someone is quietly watching out for her. On her very first day, she finds a mysterious letter taped beneath her desk, extending an invitation to participate in a scavenger hunt. Intrigued by this unexpected gesture, she begins following a trail of carefully placed clues designed to reveal the identity of her anonymous benefactor. As So-Ri navigates the scavenger hunt, she is introduced to the curious, wonderful people and hidden corners of her new campus. This gentle journey through unfamiliar hallways gradually helps her lower the walls she built after her previous ordeal. With every new clue and encounter, So-Ri begins to open her heart once more, finding hope and connection in a place she initially feared.
