Hokorobi no Lamp

To defend their world from the constant threat of Monsters, magic users rely on a powerful artifact known as the Lamp of Torn Flames. This mystical lamp allows practitioners to forge binding contracts with one another, significantly amplifying their magical abilities in the fight for survival. Corze Letta is among the newest candidates preparing to undergo this ritual. As a member of the race known as Halves, she is eager to find her destined partner—a companion drawn from the enigmatic race called Genies—to complete the pact and unlock her full potential. However, the path to partnership proves far more complicated than Corze anticipated. When the time comes for the pairing, she finds herself bound to Rau Laaran, a Genie whose personality presents an unexpected challenge. Rather than a cooperative ally ready to face the encroaching darkness, Rau turns out to be considerably more difficult to work with than she ever imagined. As the looming threat of Monsters demands unity and strength, Corze must navigate the friction of this demanding new relationship if she hopes to harness the true power of the lamp and protect her world.
