During his childhood, a young boy named Tadashi stumbled upon an extraordinary secret at a local shrine. There, he discovered a mysterious kemonomimi girl—a creature possessing the ears and tail of a beast—who had fallen onto the grounds. Concerned for her well-being, Tadashi approached to ensure she was uninjured and offered her a piece of hard candy. The girl took an immediate liking to the sweet treat, eagerly pestering him for another. When Tadashi relented and handed over a second candy, she repaid his kindness with a gentle kiss before vanishing from his life. A decade later, the memory of that fleeting encounter still lingers in Tadashi's mind. His ordinary world is suddenly disrupted when he hears the distinct voice of the strange girl calling out to him. Drawn by the familiar sound, he returns to the very shrine where they first met. However, this visit takes an unexpected turn as he strays beyond the boundaries of the physical world, crossing into a mysterious realm tied to the enigmatic creature who left such a lasting impression on him ten years ago.
