Love Me for Who I Am

Mogumo is an endearing yet isolated high school student longing for genuine companionship and a place to belong. When a classmate named Tetsu Iwaoka extends an invitation to work at his family’s café, Mogumo sees a promising opportunity to finally make friends. However, the offer comes with a fundamental misunderstanding: Tetsu assumes Mogumo is a boy who enjoys cross-dressing. In reality, Mogumo identifies as non-binary, existing outside the traditional boundaries of both male and female. Despite this initial misconception, stepping into the café reveals a welcoming environment far more diverse than Mogumo anticipated. The establishment serves as a vibrant sanctuary operated by members of the LGBT+ community, each bringing their own unique identities and personal histories to the space. Rather than feeling out of place, Mogumo discovers a supportive network of individuals who have all found their own reasons to gather there. Surrounded by people navigating similar journeys of self-expression and acceptance, Mogumo begins to experience the heartfelt connections they have always desired.
