Yuki ni Tsubasa

Set in a fading hot springs town in the snowy north, Tsubasa is a friendless middle school delinquent harboring an unusual secret: he possesses esper abilities. However, he views his telekinesis as little more than a trivial parlor trick, useful only for brushing his teeth while getting dressed or turning pages while drinking tea. For most tasks, he finds it far simpler to just use his own hands. His mundane life changes abruptly when he unexpectedly hears the inner thoughts of Yuki, a mute girl who has become the target of local delinquents planning to assault her because she cannot speak out. Rushing to her defense, Tsubasa makes a startling discovery—he can channel his telekinetic powers through Yuki’s body, allowing him to physically overwhelm her attackers. In the aftermath, Yuki naturally assumes that she is the one who possesses superpowers. Because Tsubasa is the only person aware of her perceived "secret," the two form an unlikely bond, setting the stage for their shared story to truly begin.
