The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Featured in Nintendo's Hyrule Historia artbook, this thirty-two-page manga chronicles the tragic fate of Link, a hero burdened with a dire prophecy. He foresaw the rise of the Demon King, who sought to claim the Triforce for his own sinister ambitions. When Link attempted to warn his people, his pleas were met with disbelief and hostility. Falsely accused and cast aside, he was shackled in imprisonment for four long years, abandoned by those he had tried to protect. However, the hero's warnings proved devastatingly accurate when the Demon King's forces finally descended upon the land. Desperate and out of options, the very people who had condemned him returned to beg for his salvation. Amidst this chaos, the goddess Hylia appeared from above, riding a majestic crimson Loftwing—a sacred bird of the gods. She offered the terrified populace a path to safety, promising them refuge high in the skies. Yet, even as an escape presented itself, Link refused to flee. Bound by duty and unyielding resolve, he swore to confront and defeat the Demon King, no matter the ultimate cost.
