In a mundane high school life, Motoba Hitachi is jolted out of his routine when his junior, who is an avid gamer, invites him to participate in a real-life simulation event of Incubate Castle, a popular online game they both played. Initially, the experience seems like a harmless recreation of the game, but it quickly turns into a reality that is as authentic as it can get. As Hitachi navigates this immersive game world, he must assemble a group of allies to aid him in escaping and surviving this simulated reality. Hitachi finds himself trapped in a labyrinthine castle, where the rules of the game are the only laws that apply. The boundaries between the virtual and real worlds have become increasingly blurred, and he must navigate the complex social dynamics of the other players to form alliances and gather resources. With his junior's guidance, Hitachi must use his skills and ingenuity to overcome the challenges of this simulated environment and find a way out. As the stakes grow higher, Hitachi's survival becomes a pressing concern. The game's creators seem to be pulling the strings from behind the scenes, and the other players are not what they seem. With time running out, Hitachi must rely on his wits and his relationships with his fellow players to outsmart the game and escape the confines of Incubate Castle.
