Battle Angel Alita: Holy Night & Other Stories

Battle Angel Alita: Holy Night & Other Stories is a collection of four side stories that expand on the Battle Angel Alita universe. Originally published in Ultra Jump in 1997 and 2006, these tales offer a deeper understanding of the Factory and motorball, while also introducing characters who are not present in the main narrative. In 2018, the stories were compiled into a single volume as part of the Battle Angel Alita Deluxe Edition box set, making them available in English for the first time. The four stories - "Furusato," "Seiyakyoku," "Sonic Finger," and the titular "Holy Night" - each provide a unique perspective on the world of Battle Angel Alita. Through these tales, readers gain insight into the motivations and backstories of key characters, shedding light on the complexities of the Factory and its inhabitants. The stories also explore the themes of identity, community, and the blurred lines between human and machine. By delving into the lesser-known corners of the Battle Angel Alita universe, these side stories enrich the overall narrative and offer a fresh perspective on the series' central themes.
