ZelDen!: Nariyuki Yuusha Link-kun

ZelDen!: Nariyuki Yuusha Link-kun is a comedic manga and webcomic inspired by The Legend of Zelda series, created by Seitarou Komatsu. The story centers on the hilarious misadventures of Link, who is entirely uninterested in fulfilling his destined role as the hero tasked with saving the world. Rather than embracing his responsibilities, he dedicates all his energy to finding creative ways to dodge them. The first arc unfolds in the land of Termina during its most critical hour, mere moments before the terrifying Moon is set to crash into the surface. Faced with imminent destruction, Link finally reaches for the legendary Ocarina of Time. However, instead of using the powerful instrument to prevent the apocalypse or protect the innocent inhabitants, he repeatedly turns back time for one selfish reason: so he can continue playing games uninterrupted on his Nintendo 3DS. His blatant disregard for the looming catastrophe drives the humor of the series, framing him not as a courageous savior, but as a hopelessly lazy gamer. Originally serialized in Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic Special magazine, the series gained wider recognition when it received an official English translation. In August 2015, the translated chapters were published on Play Nintendo, beginning with the release of the first part on August 7.
