Pole of Inaccessibility

Former university club members Jae-Ui and Mu-Yeong cross paths once again nearly a decade after graduation, having long drifted apart. During their undergraduate years, Mu-Yeong harbored unspoken romantic admiration for his senior, Jae-Ui. Now adults, Mu-Yeong is eager to rekindle their connection and warmly initiates contact, only to be met with unexpected coldness. Rather than welcoming the reunion, Jae-Ui maintains a distant demeanor and actively avoids conversation. Undeterred by this chilly reception, Mu-Yeong persistently attempts to bridge the emotional divide between them. However, as their forced interactions continue, Jae-Ui finally exposes a deeply personal and painful secret that accounts for his reluctance to engage. With unresolved history resurfacing and buried feelings brought to light, their dynamic shifts drastically, leaving Mu-Yeong to grapple with whether certain emotional distances are destined to remain uncrossable.
