Ode to Snow White

During the funeral of the late empress regent, Princess Nisina Snow uncovers a startling truth: she is not the true protagonist of her own fairy tale. The classic description of snow-white skin and ebony-black hair applies just as perfectly to her estranged older half-brother, Prince Aiden. While Nisina has grown up adored as the empire’s precious jewel, Aiden has languished in obscurity, harboring a deep and festering resentment toward the family that cast him aside. Now burdened with the knowledge of his simmering desire for vengeance, Nisina realizes that her idyllic life is built on fragile ground. To shield herself and her parents from the devastating wrath Aiden is destined to unleash, she must act before the tragedy unfolds. Her only hope lies in restoring harmony to the fractured royal court while forging an unlikely bond with the very prince who is fated to become her ruinous huntsman.
