Ganji and Suzu serve as dedicated officers within the Hondo Metropolitan Police Department's specialized "God Weapon Control" Division, a unique task force entrusted with managing extraordinary threats. Their daily operations typically involve handling volatile situations that fall far outside the jurisdiction of conventional law enforcement, requiring both tactical precision and an understanding of the anomalous forces they are sworn to regulate. Their latest assignment abruptly pulls them away from the mainland when a remote island off the coast of Japan mysteriously goes dark. All forms of communication have been severed, leaving the isolated territory completely unreachable and its status entirely unknown. Recognizing the severe implications of such a sudden blackout, the division immediately dispatches Ganji and Suzu to investigate the source of the disruption. As they journey toward the silent landmass, the two officers must prepare themselves for whatever unforeseen dangers await them, stepping into a void where standard protocols may no longer apply and the true nature of the island's silence remains a looming mystery.
