Kanojo no Idea

Since her middle school years, Hinata has harbored a deep admiration for Sumika Nayuki, a talented actress who happens to be the exact same age as she is. For Hinata, Sumika represents the ultimate idol—a flawless public figure whose on-screen presence and carefully cultivated image have inspired unwavering devotion. Throughout her formative years, Hinata has closely followed every aspect of Sumika's career, building an idealized version of the young star in her mind that borders on reverence. Now navigating the halls of high school, Hinata’s world is unexpectedly upended during a chance encounter on the street. When she crosses paths with Sumika in person, the reality of the situation shatters the pristine illusion she has maintained for so long. Away from the cameras and the spotlight, the actress’s genuine demeanor stands in stark contrast to the polished persona that Hinata has worshipped from afar. This jarring revelation leaves the devoted fan deeply shaken, forcing her to reconcile the perfect idol she constructed in her imagination with the flawed, authentic individual standing right before her. As Hinata grapples with this disillusionment, she must decide whether her admiration can survive the harsh light of reality, or if the girl behind the fame is someone entirely different from the one she thought she knew.
