Hyottoshite Gyaru wa Orera ni Yasashii no Dewa? Anthology Comic is a charming collection of short stories centered on a single, heartwarming premise: why are beautiful, fashionable gyaru girls so unexpectedly kind to completely ordinary, good-for-nothing guys? Across multiple volumes, various talented manga artists explore this delightful dynamic through diverse romantic comedies and slice-of-life encounters. Inside, readers will discover a wide variety of scenarios ranging from an otaku sharing secrets with a gyaru and three gyaru siblings interacting with a tough guy named Tetsuo, to summer vacations spent with cool nieces, after-school lessons, and festival challenges. Other stories delve into university life, unrequited crushes involving bespectacled characters, childhood friends who know each other's weaknesses, and even playful dynamics with assertive teachers or student council presidents seeking reform. Together, these interconnected tales celebrate the surprising sweetness hidden beneath the bold gyaru aesthetic, offering a consistently entertaining exploration of unlikely connections and gentle romance.
