Pitch-Black Ten

The tranquil Land of the Rising Sun is abruptly plunged into chaos when a fanatical sect known as the Missionaries launches a devastating invasion. These zealous disciples of the Lunar Religion preach a chilling doctrine, proclaiming that true happiness can only be achieved through death. Driven by this twisted belief, they unleash a merciless campaign of slaughter across the nation, leaving destruction in their wake. Amidst this growing turmoil, a young woman named Momo lives a quiet life as a schoolteacher in a remote, peaceful village. Her routine is unexpectedly disrupted when a mysterious boy suddenly appears at her feet. Suffering from complete amnesia, he cannot recall his own name or any details about his family. Moved by compassion, Momo gives him the name "Ten" and welcomes him into her home to live alongside her. For a time, their new life together offers a sense of normalcy. However, the violent reach of the Lunar Religion's followers soon threatens to shatter their fragile sanctuary. As the dark shadow of the Missionaries creeps toward her once-safe village, Momo must face the terrifying reality closing in around them, forcing her to protect the boy she has taken in from an encroaching nightmare.
