Zuo Hui is a quiet, introverted high school student burdened by the financial struggles of his impoverished family. Desperate to help make ends meet, he takes on a secret part-time job, but his efforts are abruptly discovered by his mother. The revelation sparks a bitter and heated argument between them, ending with Zuo Hui storming away in anger. As he walks alone, his mind races with heavy feelings of guilt and regret over the confrontation. Consumed by these distracting thoughts, he fails to notice the danger ahead, loses his footing, and plunges into a rain-flooded sewer opening. When Zuo Hui regains consciousness, the familiar world has vanished. He finds himself trapped inside a sealed room alongside a group of diverse strangers, with a rope fastened tightly around his neck. Panic sets in as he quickly discovers that any attempt to remove the noose only causes it to constrict further. Surrounded by unknown faces and locked within this mysterious space, he is left with terrifying questions: where exactly is he, who are these people, and what is the true identity of the figure claiming to be "Yama"?
