Sakuraba Souta has always prided himself on being exceptional. Whether it comes to academics, his career, or effortlessly charming women, he excels at nearly everything he attempts and considers his life to be practically perfect. However, there is one persistent flaw in his otherwise flawless existence: his childhood friend, Ukaji Tsumugu. No matter the challenge, Tsumugu consistently manages to outshine him, cementing himself as Souta’s ultimate rival and the only person capable of knocking him off his pedestal. Souta’s carefully maintained lifestyle takes a dramatic turn when one of the many women he has been casually dating decides she wants a deeper commitment. Unaccustomed to genuine romantic entanglements and suddenly cornered by her expectations, he finds himself trapped in a predicament he cannot easily charm his way out of. Desperation begins to set in as his usual tactics fail him entirely. Faced with a situation spiraling rapidly out of control, Souta must determine how far he is willing to go to escape the mess he created. The stakes force him to consider unthinkable measures, including swallowing his pride and begging his greatest rival for assistance. As the pressure mounts, Souta must decide whether his ego can survive asking Tsumugu for help, or if his so-called perfect life will finally unravel.
