Ultimate Antihero

Five years ago, Homura Kamishiro stood as the most powerful mage in the world, single-handedly saving humanity from the terrifying demon king Typhon. Yet, instead of being celebrated as a savior, he was branded a traitor and feared as the Fiend Summoner—a man who allegedly sold his soul to monstrous, inhumane entities to achieve his victory. Now living under the weight of a world that despises him, Homura finds himself stepping into a new chapter of his turbulent life by enrolling at the New Tokyo Magic Academy. Assigned to the academy’s 101st Training Platoon, Homura must navigate an environment defined by suspicion and hostility. However, his integration into this elite unit is driven by more than mere circumstance. A mysterious promise made long ago binds his fate directly to the platoon’s leader, Hoshikawa—an endearing young woman known for her distinctive cowgirl attire. As Homura confronts the prejudice of his peers and the shadows of his infamous past, the true nature of his vow to Hoshikawa threatens to unravel the secrets behind his sacrifices, forcing the world's strongest outcast to decide what he is truly fighting for.
