Akuma no Riddle: Riddle Story of Devil

Within the secluded halls of Myojo Private School, an elite all-girls boarding academy, Class Black harbors a deadly secret. Of its thirteen students, twelve are highly trained assassins united by a single objective: eliminating their thirteenth classmate. The target is Haru Ichinose, a remarkably optimistic girl who has sworn to survive her time at the academy and graduate without harm. Among the killers is Tokaku Azuma, a cold-blooded assassin who transfers into the school specifically to carry out the hit on Haru. What begins as a straightforward assignment quickly spirals into a deeply complicated ordeal when Tokaku finds herself inexplicably unable to pull the trigger. Instead of executing her mission, she becomes entangled in unfamiliar emotions that challenge everything she knows about her profession. As these unexpected feelings take root, Tokaku faces an agonizing internal conflict that forces her to question her true purpose within Class Black. Surrounded by eleven other lethal classmates eager to claim Haru’s life, Tokaku must navigate a treacherous environment where trust is nonexistent. She is left with a harrowing choice: surrender to her original mission and end Haru's life before the others can, or defy her nature entirely and become the very shield protecting the girl she was sent to kill.
