Nekomori-kun no Himitsu no Tobira

Ai Nekomori possesses an unusual and isolating ability: he can perceive the metaphorical "doors" to people's hearts. Because of this gift, he constantly hears the unfiltered thoughts of everyone around him. Over time, this relentless exposure has taught him a bitter lesson about human nature. He has come to realize that the words people speak aloud rarely match the true feelings hidden behind their smiles. Disillusioned by the constant deception, Ai has chosen to trust no one, keeping his own heart firmly sealed away from the world. His guarded existence is unexpectedly challenged when he crosses paths with Ritsu Sengoku, an upbeat and tomboyish girl who defies everything he has come to expect from others. Unlike the people Ai usually observes, Ritsu speaks her mind with complete honesty, never hiding her true intentions behind a mask of polite falsehoods. Her refreshing transparency stands in stark contrast to the sea of hidden motives he navigates every day. As she effortlessly bridges the gap between thought and speech, Ritsu becomes the first person capable of reaching him, leaving one lingering question: can her genuine spirit finally unlock the door to Nekomori’s closed heart?
