Just days ago, Asagaya Shin was an ordinary high school student living a quiet life in Mitaka, Tokyo. Now, through circumstances beyond his understanding, his consciousness has been transferred into the central artificial intelligence of a massive space battleship. Thrust into the cold vacuum of deep space, Shin awakens to a dire reality: his vessel is encircled by an overwhelming enemy armada. With only a handful of allied escort ships remaining at his side, the fleet faces near-certain annihilation. Complicating matters further, the battleship’s commanding officer is a young girl—a decorated member of the royal family who had boarded the vessel as part of a formal ceremony. Despite being trapped within a machine, Shin retains his human intuition and emotional reasoning. Refusing to accept defeat, he leverages these uniquely human traits to devise unconventional tactics that no standard military program could predict.
