Hajime no Ippo: Fighting Spirit!

Ippo Makunouchi has been a punching bag for his classmates since childhood. Constantly forced to run errands and endure beatings, he's always dreamed of turning his life around. But it wasn't until he was rescued by Takamura Mamoru, a skilled boxer, that Ippo's journey began. After Takamura brings him to his gym to recover from a brutal beating, Ippo is struck by the unfamiliar surroundings and feels a spark of determination. Takamura puts Ippo's classmate's face on a punching bag and tasks him with taking a few swings. This unexpected challenge awakens something within Ippo, and he begs Takamura to teach him the ways of boxing. Initially skeptical, Takamura sets Ippo an impossible goal with a one-week deadline, but Ippo is driven to prove himself, not just for his own sake, but also for his hardworking mother. With a newfound sense of purpose, Ippo throws himself into training, starting a journey that will take him to the pinnacle of the boxing world.
