Kujou no Taizai

Taiza Kujou is a defense attorney who operates by an uncompromising professional philosophy: every individual, regardless of the severity of their crimes, deserves legal representation. In a justice system often swayed by public outrage and moral judgment, she stands as an unwavering advocate for those whom society has already condemned. Her practice does not discriminate between the misunderstood and the truly guilty, extending her services to even the most reviled criminals who walk the earth. This absolute dedication to the principles of law places Taiza at the center of intense ethical and professional conflict. By choosing to defend individuals widely regarded as irredeemable scum, she routinely faces severe public backlash, personal risk, and the heavy burden of protecting those who seemingly deserve no protection. Yet, she navigates these turbulent courtroom battles with resolute conviction, challenging the boundaries of morality and justice. Her story explores the profound tension between societal condemnation and the fundamental right to a fair trial. As Taiza continues to take on the cases that no other lawyer would dare touch, she forces everyone around her to confront uncomfortable questions about the true nature of justice, the limits of human empathy, and the heavy cost of upholding the law without exception.
