Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu

Set against the backdrop of Tokoname in Aichi Prefecture, this original story of self-discovery follows Miyo Sasaki, a peculiar second-year junior high student better known by her nickname, Muge. She has fallen deeply in love with her classmate, Kento Hinode, and relentlessly pursues his attention every single day. Despite her unwavering dedication, Kento remains entirely oblivious to her affections. Yet, Muge refuses to give up, continuing her earnest pursuit while harboring a profound secret that she cannot share with anyone. Her life takes a fantastical turn when she discovers a magical mask capable of transforming her into a cat named Tarou. This enchantment provides Muge with the perfect opportunity to finally get close to Kento without the awkwardness of her human interactions. However, relying on this magic comes at a steep price. As she spends more time in her feline form to be near the boy she loves, she faces a terrifying dilemma: the spell may eventually become permanent, leaving her unable to ever return to her human self.
