Gambling Outcast Kaiji - Kaiji Part 3

Six months after his life-or-death struggle against The Bog, Kaiji escapes the underground and settles his debts. However, Sakazaki becomes frustrated with Kaiji and attempts to rid himself of the troublemaker by offering a settlement of 3 million yen. Reuniting with his friends Miyoshi and Maeda, who he had met in the underground, they devise a plan to defraud Muraoka, the president of the casino where they work, out of a significant sum of money. Kaiji accepts Sakazaki's payment of 3 million yen, promising to repay the debt, and agrees to participate in a high-stakes game of "17 Steps," a variant of mahjong invented by Muraoka.
