Immortals' Wechat Group

Lin Hai was once an entirely unremarkable college student, but his mundane existence is shattered when he is unexpectedly added to a bizarre WeChat group. This digital chatroom is no ordinary gathering; its members are powerful immortals and deities eager to trade celestial treasures for modern earthly goods. Overnight, Lin Hai finds himself thrust into a surreal role as the ultimate middleman between the mortal world and the divine realm, forever altering the trajectory of his life. The demands of his new clientele are as extravagant as they are varied. When the Queen Mother exhausts her supply of facial masks, Lin Hai secures ten Peaches of Immortality in return, refusing any negotiation. Daode Tianzun craves cigarettes, which costs him ten Elixir Pills with no credit extended. Even the Red Boy’s innocent desire for a bottle of Wahaha, a popular Chinese beverage, earns Lin Hai mastery over the legendary Samadhi Fire. Meanwhile, Chang’e’s request for alluring lingerie presents a uniquely complicated challenge that requires Lin Hai to personally take her measurements. As the transactions escalate, the stakes grow increasingly dangerous. When Yama, the ruler of the underworld, requests a brand-new sports car, Lin Hai realizes his dealings have inadvertently entangled him with the forces of death itself. Seizing the opportunity, he demands the Book of Life and Death, insisting his own name be permanently struck from its pages.
