Takase has long been aware of his attraction to men, yet he navigates daily life behind a carefully constructed facade. Bound by his own pride, he chooses deception over vulnerability, keeping his true identity hidden from the world. His guarded existence takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Ito, a man who spends his days waiting at a local cafe for his male lover. Fascinated by Ito’s willingness to wear his heart on his sleeve, Takase finds himself drawn to this stranger's unguarded sincerity—a stark contrast to his own life of quiet pretense. However, Ito’s devotion is met with betrayal, and Takase witnesses firsthand the devastating aftermath. Rather than retreating, Ito weeps with a raw, unrelenting purity that shakes Takase to his very core. This profound display of genuine emotion leaves a lasting mark, awakening desires Takase has spent years suppressing. He begins to yearn for a connection with Ito that transcends mere friendship, desperate to offer the comfort and honesty Ito so deeply deserves. Yet, the invisible walls he built around himself prove difficult to dismantle. Despite his growing feelings, Takase remains paralyzed by his inability to speak the truth, trapped in the painful silence of a lie he no longer wishes to live.
