Kirakira-kun to Imaichi-kun

Two years after graduating from college, Hotta remains stuck in a stagnant routine. Unable to secure proper employment, he continues working part-time at the same convenience store where he has spent his post-graduation days. His life is entirely devoid of meaningful connections, leaving him isolated and without a single friend to rely on. Everything shifts when a new part-time employee arrives at the store: Ryouta Kashiwagi, a young, handsome college freshman who seems to exist on an entirely different level. Unlike Hotta, Ryouta is effortlessly popular and brimming with promise, embodying everything Hotta feels he lacks. The stark contrast between their lives makes them an unlikely pair, leaving Hotta bewildered by the younger man's presence. Because of Ryouta’s overwhelming charm and bright future, Hotta never expects any genuine interaction between them. However, his quiet assumptions are completely shattered when Ryouta suddenly confesses his feelings. This unexpected declaration leaves Hotta stunned, forcing him to confront a reality he never could have anticipated while working behind the counter of his unremarkable daily life.
