Shed that Skin, Ryugasaki-san!

Ryugasaki-san is a lizard girl navigating the everyday challenges of high school life with a distinctly reptilian twist. Her biology sets her apart from her peers in striking ways: she possesses a chameleon-like tongue, gecko-adhering hands, and even a functional third eyelid. Because of this unique physiology, she naturally sheds her skin several times throughout the year. Under normal circumstances, this biological quirk would simply be a private inconvenience, but her routine takes an unexpected turn when one of her discarded skins attracts the intense fascination of a classmate. That classmate is Yugami-kun, an eccentric student harboring a deep-seated obsession with reptiles. Rather than being repelled by Ryugasaki-san’s unusual traits, his meticulous and inquisitive nature draws him directly to her. He begins studying her physiological features with unwavering attention, transforming what was once a source of self-consciousness into the foundation of an unlikely connection. What follows is the tender beginning of a romance between two remarkably unconventional teenagers. As their bond develops, Ryugasaki-san faces the endearing challenge of proving to the hopelessly captivated Yugami-kun that there is far more to her as a person than just her fascinating reptilian anatomy.
