Wakaba Himekawa has always been acutely aware that she is maturing at a noticeably slower pace than her peers. Despite this lingering physical delay, she leads a quiet and contented life, finding comfort in the familiar rhythms of her daily routine. However, everything shifts on a single, pivotal day when her body finally reaches a long-awaited milestone: the arrival of her first period. This deeply personal moment coincides with an unexpected turn of events. Her childhood friend, Takaya, chooses this very day to confess his romantic feelings for her. Wakaba has never viewed Takaya in such a light, yet his heartfelt admission leaves her genuinely happy, even as she struggles to untangle her own confused emotions. Just as she gathers herself to give him an answer, their ordinary world is abruptly shattered. A blaring alarm pierces the air, followed by a mysterious broadcast that promises to upend her peaceful existence entirely, thrusting Wakaba into an unforeseen reality where her everyday life will never be the same.
