Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan

A pianist who has attempted suicide three times, Juri, is taken to help her aunt at a prison where murderers who have killed indiscriminately are sentenced to death. There, she meets a man named Yuu who has taken the lives of three people. Both Juri and Yuu are haunted by the violent rebellion in their hearts, caused by the deep scars of their past - Juri's struggles with her own mortality and Yuu's tragic history, including a mother's antagonism and a brother's death. However, as they navigate their dark emotions, they both begin to embrace an earnest hope in their hearts, a desire to find a reason to live. Based on a novel by South Korea's renowned female novelist, Gong Ji-Young, this poignant story explores the complexities of the human heart and the power of hope in the face of trauma and despair.
