Exoskull Rei

By the close of the twenty-first century, humanity’s relentless technological progress culminated in the creation of a colossal energy source designed to power their advanced civilization. Instead of ushering in a new era of prosperity, this unprecedented power supply catastrophically overloaded, unleashing a destructive force far exceeding any nuclear weapon. The resulting disaster obliterated most of human society, leaving the scattered survivors to endure a lawless wasteland consumed by terror and anarchy. Amidst this ruin lies the legacy of Hagakure Kakugo, a young man born into a clandestine lineage that has spent generations shielding humanity from malevolent organizations and overwhelming evil. Members of his family are placed into deep stasis, awakened only when the world faces its darkest hour. Decades have passed since Kakugo last opened his eyes, and during his prolonged slumber, his body was extensively modified, fused with metal to drastically enhance his offensive and defensive capabilities. Now thrust into a broken world, he relies on the Exoskull—a specialized armor that bonds directly to his frame, amplifying his already superhuman strength to devastating levels. Clad in this living fortress, Kakugo embarks on a harrowing journey through hell itself, standing as humanity's final bulwark against total annihilation.
