Alian is a young girl living on the isolated island of Ailen, where she stands out starkly from her peers. While everyone else in her tribe possesses blond hair, Alian is uniquely marked by her contrasting black hair, making her the frequent target of bullying and isolation throughout her youth. Her life pivots when a mysterious traveler dressed in silver arrives on the island to bestow a true "name" upon her. In her culture, receiving a name is a profound and sacred event that reveals a person's true self. Recognizing her potential following this pivotal naming, the Master Drisu takes Alian under his wing as his disciple. Tragedy strikes when Bara, the ruthless leader of Death Valley, descends upon Ailen and massacres her entire tribe in a single night. Left alone and shattered by the loss of her people, Alian dedicates her life to a solemn vow of vengeance against Bara.
