Tsuuhan de Katta Youtou ga Gachi Datta ~Tameshigiri Shitara Kuukan ga Sakete Isekai ni Tobasareta Ageku, Densetsu no Yuusha da to Kanchigai Sarete Komatteimasu~

College student Souji Miyamoto is unexpectedly transported to another world after testing a replica sword he purchased on impulse, inadvertently tearing open space itself. He materializes directly within an active hero-summoning ritual in a foreign kingdom, leading the royal court to mistakenly hail him as their prophesied savior. This dangerous charade unravels when the princess uncovers his true identity as an ordinary imposter rather than the legendary champion they desperately need. Instead of exposing him immediately, she leverages this secret to coerce him into compliance, threatening execution if his deception is revealed to the public or the nobility. With no safe way to refuse, Souji is compelled to embark on a perilous quest to defeat the Demon King despite lacking genuine heroic qualifications. His situation grows increasingly complicated as he discovers that every member assigned to the Hero’s party possesses extreme eccentricities and personal baggage that hinder their effectiveness. Navigating both the external threat of demonic forces and the internal chaos of his dysfunctional companions, Souji must maintain his false persona while surviving a journey far more treacherous than any mail-order blade could have prepared him for.
