Following a long-standing family tradition, a young woman steps forward to take the rigorous examination required to become a demon cleaner. This perilous profession demands absolute focus and skill, but her trial takes an unexpected and dangerous turn when a vampire manages to break free during the assessment. In the ensuing chaos, the creature attacks her, sinking its fangs into her flesh and leaving her cursed with a bite that threatens to transform her very nature.
