It Was a Mistake, Grand Duke!

Vivian Louis, the twenty-one-year-old daughter of a Count, appears to be a gentle and unassuming young woman. Beneath her innocent exterior, however, lies a singular, consuming passion: an intense infatuation with the strikingly handsome Grand Duke Lennox Elphidion Glenn. Ever since falling for him at first sight at the age of fourteen, Vivian has spent years quietly obsessing over him, pouring her devotion into countless pieces of fan art and romantic fiction. Her harmless fantasies take a shocking turn when an accident involving her best friend’s magical crystal ball thrusts her wildest imaginings into reality. Suddenly, the Grand Duke finds himself bound in her bed, accusing Vivian of orchestrating his kidnapping. Desperate to escape this scandalous predicament, she strikes a bargain with him: they will pretend to be a couple. To formalize their arrangement, the two sign a one-year contract. Yet as their charade unfolds, Lennox begins showing signs that his interest extends far beyond their fabricated relationship. Unaware of his shifting intentions, Vivian is about to discover that the passionate romance she once only dreamed of writing might actually be coming true.
