The Dangerous Convenience Store

Working the night shift at a convenience store in a rough neighborhood was never going to be easy, but Yeo Eui-joon quickly discovers that reality is far harsher than he anticipated. Instead of ordinary late-night customers, his shifts are dominated by imposing, aggressive gangsters who treat him as little more than a convenient target. Night after night, Eui-joon endures their hostility, trapped in a grueling routine where intimidation and violence feel like an unavoidable part of the job. Just as his endurance begins to wear thin, the arrival of a new customer changes everything. Gunwoo steps into the small shop carrying the same intimidating presence as the others, yet his demeanor toward Eui-joon is entirely different. Beneath his gruff exterior lies a genuine concern for the young clerk’s safety and well-being. This unexpected kindness offers Eui-joon a reprieve from his daily torment, signaling that his time as the neighborhood punching bag may finally be drawing to a close. As Gunwoo continues to visit the store, his protective nature and commanding charisma leave a lasting impression. What begins as relief soon deepens into something more profound, and it does not take long for Eui-joon to find himself captivated by the imposing man who chose to look out for him when no one else would.
