Mapping: The Trash-Tier Skill That Got Me Into a Top-Tier Party

Note Athlon had always dreamed of becoming an adventurer alongside his closest friend and secret crush, Miya. However, his aspirations crumble the moment he acquires his designated ability: Mapping. Despite its rarity, the skill offers virtually no practical combat or survival value, rendering it completely useless in the eyes of society. When Miya abandons him shortly after, Note spirals into a deep depression, drowning his sorrows in cheap alcohol and endlessly agonizing over how his life might have changed had fate granted him a worthwhile talent. Yet, just as he resigns himself to a meaningless existence, an unexpected opportunity arises. The very skill dismissed as worthless catches the attention of an elite adventuring party, earning him an invitation that defies all logic. Armed with this surprising second chance, Note resolves to turn his fortunes around. Whether navigating treacherous dungeon corridors or forging a new path in life, he is finally determined to prove his worth and transform his so-called trash-tier ability into something extraordinary.
