Delusion

In 1935 Gyeongseong, struggling artist I-Ho Yun accepts a portrait commission from the reclusive Madam Jeong-Hwa Song, an elderly patron who has never before allowed anyone to see her face. When she finally reveals herself, I-Ho is shocked to discover a young woman rather than the aged matron he expected. Despite her youthful appearance, she insists that he paint her as an old woman and issues a chilling warning: he must not complete the portrait under any circumstances. The gravity of her request becomes apparent when I-Ho discovers an ominous letter hidden among the previous artist’s supplies. He learns a terrifying truth about his predecessor and the many painters who came before him; none have ever left Madam Song’s estate alive or with their sanity intact. Now trapped in a web of mystery and dread, I-Ho must uncover what she is concealing and determine whether finishing the forbidden portrait will seal his doom or reveal the dark secret behind her impossible visage.
