Ushiro no Seki no Katou-kun

Owada is an unremarkable student who blends seamlessly into the background of his classroom, content with his ordinary existence and lack of prominence. In stark contrast stands Katou, a strikingly handsome classmate whose aloof demeanor has earned him the reputation of an untouchable school prince. Owada operates under the firm assumption that someone of Katou’s stature would never notice, let alone remember, the name of someone as inconspicuous as himself, maintaining a comfortable emotional distance between their disparate social standings. This carefully maintained separation dissolves unexpectedly when the two find themselves engaged in a private conversation that shatters Owada’s preconceived notions. Beneath Katou’s polished exterior lies a complex personality that diverges sharply from his public persona, revealing depths that Owada could never have anticipated. This intimate glimpse into his classmate’s true nature sparks a profound fascination within Owada, transforming his indifference into an intense curiosity as he becomes increasingly captivated by the unexpected dimensions of Katou’s character that exist far beyond the classroom hierarchy.
