Shin Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Cygnus no Otome-tachi

Set one year after the graduation of Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba, this narrative shifts focus to a new generation of students at First High School. The story centers on Arisa and Marika, two young women who share a profound sisterly bond despite their differing backgrounds. Their relationship was profoundly tested when Arisa was entrusted to the prestigious Jumonji family, an elite magical house that demanded her exclusive attention and training. This arrangement forced a painful two-year separation during their formative years, creating an emotional distance that lingered even as they pursued their magical education. Now reunited within the same academic institution, both girls must navigate the complexities of their restored relationship while adapting to life at First High School. Their reunion is not merely a joyful homecoming but a delicate process of reconciliation, as they bridge the gap created by years apart and the distinct paths shaped by their respective upbringings. As they face the rigorous demands of their magical curriculum and social expectations, Arisa and Marika must redefine their connection, balancing their deep-seated affection with the individual identities forged during their time of separation in this next chapter of the Mahouka universe.
