Outsider Communication

Seki is a high school student who spends his days drifting among the school's most unmotivated slackers. His carefully maintained, low-profile lifestyle is abruptly shattered when Iwashiro, an elite and highly disciplined classmate, unexpectedly discovers Seki working a part-time job. Although the two barely know each other, the encounter quickly escalates into a heated confrontation. In his desperate attempt to push Iwashiro away and keep his secret safe, Seki accidentally causes the top student to tumble down a flight of stairs. The fall leaves Iwashiro with a sprained ankle, but rather than reporting the incident, he seizes the opportunity to force Seki into acting as his personal caretaker. Bound by guilt and circumstance, the delinquent-leaning slacker finds himself tethered to the very embodiment of academic perfection. As these two students with diametrically opposed personalities are thrust into constant proximity, their reluctant arrangement sparks an unlikely dynamic. What begins as a tense obligation slowly evolves, raising the question of what will ultimately unfold when two complete outsiders are forced to navigate their contrasting worlds together.
