Saihate kara, Toho 5-bu

Cape Shide, ominously referred to as "Death Cape," is a desolate cliffside destination chosen by those who have lost all desire to live. It is here that the hopeless come to end their lives by leaping into the abyss. Just a short walk from this tragic precipice stands the Gilda Inn, a quiet establishment that serves as an unexpected waypoint for those lingering on the edge of despair. Sumomo is one such individual, having traveled to the cape with the firm intention of taking his own life. However, before committing to this irreversible act, he finds himself bound by a single remaining item on his final list: he must see Yoko one last time. Mysterious and enigmatic, Yoko has recently assumed the role of manager at the Gilda Inn, making her presence there both timely and fateful for Sumomo. Driven by this final wish, Sumomo approaches the inn seeking closure before the end. Yet, what was meant to be a brief and definitive farewell quickly spirals beyond his control. The reunion between Sumomo and Yoko does not unfold as he had anticipated, setting into motion events that challenge his grim resolve and alter the course of his final days.
