13-nengo no Kimi

Thirteen years ago, a man named Tatsuomi tragically lost his life in an accident. However, death was not the end of his journey. He was reborn into a new life and now exists as Fushimi Arata, an ordinary middle school student navigating the everyday challenges of adolescence. While he carries the memories and experiences of his past existence, Arata attempts to move forward in his current reality, living quietly under the guise of a typical young boy. His world is suddenly turned upside down when a new teacher arrives at his school. To everyone else, she is simply another educator, but to Arata, she is someone profoundly significant: Midorikawa Utako, the woman who was his lover during his previous life as Tatsuomi. This unexpected reunion forces him to confront the complicated emotions of a past he thought he had left behind, all while trapped within the body and social standing of a teenage student. Bound by history yet separated by time, age, and circumstance, their renewed connection sets the stage for a deeply emotional narrative. 13-nengo no Kimi is a heartfelt story that explores the enduring nature of love, the lingering weight of past memories, and the bittersweet complexities of reincarnation.
