Ookii Kouhai wa Suki desu ka?

Ookii Kouhai wa Suki desu ka? is a romantic comedy manga that playfully subverts the traditional dynamics of school life. At its core, the story follows an imposing and affectionate junior who has set her sights on completely pampering her senior. Rather than adhering to the expected hierarchy where upperclassmen guide their younger peers, this relationship flips the script entirely, placing the larger-than-life kouhai in the role of the devoted caretaker. This delightfully uneven love comedy thrives on the charming contrast between the two characters. The junior’s overwhelming eagerness to dote on her senior creates a series of humorous and endearing situations, leaving him constantly caught off guard by her relentless affection. As she goes out of her way to spoil him at every turn, the story explores the awkward yet heartwarming progression of their unconventional bond. Navigating the ups and downs of high school romance is never simple, especially when the power dynamic is so uniquely skewed. Through lighthearted misunderstandings and sweet moments of genuine connection, the manga delivers an entertaining narrative about finding love in unexpected places. It is a refreshing take on the genre, driven by a protagonist whose sheer determination to shower her senior with attention makes for a thoroughly engaging comedic romance.
