Flower and the Beast

At the age of six, Hwayeon Ryu inexplicably falls into a deep coma. For twelve long years, her devoted father, Chung Ryu, tirelessly searches for a way to bring her back, until she finally opens her eyes. However, her awakening brings an unsettling revelation: alongside her own memories, she possesses the complete life experiences of another girl named Yeonu Lee. Left to wonder whether this existence is merely a dream or a psychological escape from a harsh reality, Hwayeon gradually learns to navigate the strange duality of her mind and adjust to her renewed life. Hoping to share a simple lunch with her father, Hwayeon visits the royal palace one day but accidentally wanders down the wrong path. This misstep leads her directly into the presence of Crown Prince Muyeong, a figure widely feared and known as a notorious beast. From this unexpected encounter, the story truly begins, setting the stage for a compelling dynamic between the gentle, delicate flower that is Hwayeon and the arrogant, fearless prince who commands the palace.
