Gilgamesh

Tludia was on the verge of becoming a full-fledged Knight within the Order when she was abruptly expelled. Her dismissal came not from a lack of skill, but from an unfortunate habit of breaking too many weapons and consuming far more food than her superiors deemed acceptable. Despite this setback, her sense of justice remains intact. When she stumbles upon a group of robbers cornering a defenseless old man, she instinctively rushes to his aid. However, her intervention arrives a second too late—the elderly stranger requires no protection at all. In truth, it is Tludia who ends up needing rescue. Far older than his unassuming appearance suggests, the mysterious man recognizes something in Tludia that awakens a long-dormant memory. Moved by her selfless attempt to defend him, he resolves to repay her courage. He offers to seek out a cure for the hidden disease afflicting her, sweetening the proposal with the one incentive guaranteed to win her over: the promise of endless meals. Bound by mutual need and unexpected camaraderie, the two set forth together. Their journey becomes a quest to restore life to a young knight running out of time, and to finally grant long-awaited peace to an ancient wanderer.
