Adventures of God

Adventures of God is a slice-of-life comedy that offers a wildly unconventional glimpse into eternity. Readers are invited to step beyond the pearly gates and explore a version of Heaven that bears little resemblance to traditional scripture. Far from the sacred paradise depicted in holy texts, this celestial realm operates under entirely unexpected rules, revealing a reality that is far less divine than anyone could have anticipated. At the center of this irreverent narrative is God himself, whose presence transforms Heaven into a remarkably dysfunctional workplace. Rather than projecting omnipotent grace, the Almighty struggles with a fragile, oversized ego and a severe drinking problem, creating a deeply unhealthy environment for everyone around Him. The daily operations of the afterlife are dictated not by spiritual perfection, but by the constant need to manage the Creator's volatile insecurities and intoxication. While this portrayal strips away the expected holiness of the heavenly kingdom, it replaces reverence with relentless humor. The stark contrast between humanity's lofty expectations of the afterlife and its absurd, flawed reality forms the core of the story. Ultimately, this manga delivers a comedic exploration of immortality, proving that even the highest realms of existence can be thoroughly, hilariously imperfect.
