The protagonist of the story is Junichiro Izumida, the unluckiest non-career police officer in the entire Metropolitan Police Department. Under an order from his superiors, he was assigned to the most problematic person in the Metropolitan Police Department, the "Exorcist Queen" Yakushiji Ryoko, who is even afraid of vampires. All the strange incidents are solved in front of the invincible Ryoko, and the plot unfolds under the complaining point of view of the protagonist's narration.
